Thank you for your interest in church planting in southwest Montana.  You will find the following materials necessary for your application and first phase of the assessment process on our web site:

Please follow the instructions on the Church Planting Application.  Prompt response by you and your references is essential.  A minimum of six returned reference forms is necessary for completing this.  I suggest that you personally contact these individuals to notify them that you are sending the reference form and to ask them to complete the form and return it to our address in a timely manner.

Please complete the Discovery Tool and return it to our office for both you (and your spouse).  After we receive your application, references, resume and discovery tool we will be in contact with you to secure other requested materials (spiritual gifts personality profile, assessment, preaching videotape or audio tape) we will review the materials.  We will send to you the Spiritual Gifts & Personality profile in the mail after we receive from you the application & the reference forms from others. 

Upon review of the materials, we will determine if to proceed with a phone interview.  If the phone interview produces the desired result, then a 4-hour assessment interview is scheduled unless you have already completed one.  If you have we may still need you to have another one conducted given certain settings, time factors, conditions etc.

When the entire assessment process is complete then the time has come for us to determine if we are to partner together in planting a church.  Our assessment process is not intended to tell you if God is calling you to plant, but instead it assists us to determine if we want to partner with you in a church plant in our Association.  The assessment will be used later in the mentoring relationship if we all decide to partner together in a new church plant.

If we all decide to continue in the process then we will want to bring you & your wife on site for several days of interviews with myself, partnering churches, our Associational Church Planting Team & for you visit possible communities that need new churches.
