Treasure State Baptist Association

TEAMS

Treasure State Baptist Association is composed of a community of Southern Baptist Churches in southwest Montana that have chosen to cooperate together in order to fulfill the mandate of the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. The Association exists to resource and assist churches with their God called visions and needs. We strive to give back to the churches according to their individual and collective needs relevant resources, customized training and excellent service. THEREFORE:

Our mission is to resource churches and ministries as they engage their world with the gospel, seeking to fulfill their unique, God-given vision for carrying out the Great Commission.

The work of TSBA is divided into four priorities. Missions Ministry, Church Health, Church Planting and Pastoral Health and Development. This is accomplished through four main Teams.

Acts 1:8 Team

Shall assist in developing mission outposts on college campuses, state institutions, resort areas and mobilizes resources and teams that reach out to help meet the mission needs in Treasure State Baptist Association, Montana, North America and International regions of our world.

Church Health Team

Serves churches by providing relevant resources, customized training and consulting services that assist in churches overall health and growth. Example: Sunday School, Vacation Bible School Clinics, Women's and Children's Ministries.

LeaderCare Team

Provide training, resources, support networks and professional development as well as emotional and spiritual health for pastors, staff, ministry leaders, their wives and families.

Church Planting Team

Identifies and assists in the starting of new churches and developing strategies to reach new people and establish points of work with pockets of people. To coordinate partnerships, resources, personnel and training of church planters, pastors and church leaders.

Administrative Team

Shall deal with the Administrative issues of Treasure State Baptist Association (TSBA). Team will consist of the Ministry Action Team Leaders, TSBA Officers, Administrative Secretary and Director of missions. They are to work with the paid personnel, officers and teams in monitoring and managing the operations of TSBA. Responsible for personnel policies, TSBA officers, the budget and Annual Meeting program. Shall coordinate calendaring, communicating and cooperating between teams.
